Merage Executive to Executive (E2E) Mentoring Program
The goal of the Merage E2E Mentoring Program is to create and facilitate collaborative relationships among executive students, Merage alumni and the business community. EMBA Mentors are provided through a relationship and in collaboration with Forum for Corporate Directors (FCD), American Association of Senior Executives (AASE) and ACCESS Executives, Center for Healthcare Management and Policy and NAWBO and by invitation only, executive groups. These mentors greatly enhance networking opportunities for executive students. Quarterly breakfast meetings with speakers/presentations are scheduled for additional mentor/mentee networking.

When you have an issue or one-time question that needs expert feedback and an executive with experience in that area and/or executive coach could help … contact Sylvia and she will put you in contact with someone who will assist you either over the phone or in a face-to-face meeting. Corporate Board Governance Certification - Executive level-Professional Development The Governance Miniseries/Course Elective has been designed specifically for the Executive students to:
- Introduce students to the role and responsibilities of a board of directors
- Provide an explanation of the complexities of the role of the CEO and his/her relationships with the board
- Describe the four “right” factors essential in building more effective boards – people, structure, processes and culture
- Outline and discuss the roles and responsibilities of the essential committees
- Understand the similarities and the differences for non-profit boards
Executive Career Development Series
Career workshops for EMBAs are held periodically on Fridays during lunch and for HCEMBAs on Thursdays before class on a variety of career topics such as preparing and executive bio, networking, interviewing, researching and targeting companies, strategies for career advancement and how to work with executive recruiters.
Merage Career Partners
A network of executives in the business community and Merage Executive students. The purpose is to create and facilitate collaborative relationships that enable students to develop skills in executive career progression and effective C-Level leadership skills. Students also gain valuable individual feedback and observe companies and their leaders at work.
Industry Insights
Scheduled to launch in Spring ’08 that will give select fulltime MBA students an opportunity to connect with Executive MBAs and Health Care Executive MBAs, to learn more about their industry/company.
