Our mission is to advance student awareness and understanding of the healthcare industry by exploring career and business opportunities in the biomedical, pharmaceutical, and health delivery sectors.

Orange County is a hotbed community for the healthcare sector, especially in the area of medical device. Many students choose to attend the Merage School because of its connection with companies within this industry and its proximity to companies like Allergan, Edwards Lifesciences and Beckman Coulter. The HBPA strives to help students who are interested in a career in the healthcare industry to make meaningful connections with companies and professionals in the area. The club also attempts to increase the overall awareness of the healthcare industry to the Merage community at large.

The Healthcare & BioPharma Association members are full and part time MBA students who have a professional interest in the healthcare field. Current members include students with backgrounds in the following fields: Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Consulting, Care Giving, Administrative, and Payor.
